STV’s Transportation group currently has an opening in our Franklin or Chattanooga TN offices for a Roadway/Civil Engineer.  This person will primarily perform production of plans, specifications, quantity estimates and various studies and reports for road projects including but not limited to design projects for public agencies. 

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting interdisciplinary projects, document preparation and production

  • Assisting with the design of roadway alignments and details, grading, drainage, traffic and other roadway infrastructure

  • Interacting with client management teams, engineers, and marketing teams

  • Design using Bentley Open Roads Designer

Required Skills & Required Experience:  

  • BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering / PE License is required

  • 2 or more years of experience in transportation, highway and roadway design, or closely related engineering field.

  • Proficient in Bentley MicroStation & Bentley Open Roads Designer

  • Familiarity with TDOT Roadway Standards, Criteria, and Specifications
