Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of support for the Manufacturing Engineering team Act as the liaison between design engineering, programs, manufacturing, and supply chain Leverage cross-functional relationships to help identify improvement opportunities, align on priorities, and execute initiatives to reduce lead time, labor hours, etc. both within internal and external manufacturing processes Leverage data to establish, monitor, and improve manufacturing and supply chain metrics enveloping safety, quality, delivery, and cost Enable manufacturing and supply chain autonomy by challenging requirements, simplifying work processes, and automating actions Serve as the technical subject matter expert for training requirements and capability expansion throughout manufacturing and supply chain Troubleshoot and identify ultimate root cause of issues in manufacturing and supply chain processes, then implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence Partner with peer engineering teams to implement design changes in response to manufacturing and supply chain issues, customer challenges, new vehicle architectures, and departmental standardization initiatives Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline 3+ years in manufacturing and/or supply chain 3+ years in engineering 1+ years of experience leading a team of engineers Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers Experience creating and delivering presentations to management Demonstrated ability to aggregate, visualize, and analyze data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.) Competent with CAD software (Solidworks/Altium preferred) Preferred Qualifications Experience in the aerospace industry 5+ years in manufacturing and/or supply chain 5+ years in engineering 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing, electromechanical assembly, and batteries Demonstrated ability to scale manufacturing rate capability Summary Pay-Range Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Essential Functions:

  • Assists Construction Manager in developing and implementing construction procedures, construction documents, standards, etc.
  • Collaborates to create job schedules and ensure ongoing compliance during construction phase of projects. Reviews manpower requirements and productivity relative to meeting current job progress schedules, follow-up for timely delivery of materials to meet established schedules. Produces daily logs of projects.
  • Assures compliance with hospital policies related to or impacted by construction activities.
  • Coordinates project work with hospital operations to effectively maintain job progress, negotiates the impact of construction, and promotes safety in occupied areas.
  • Performs jobsite inspections to assure code compliance and quality control using project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes. Creates lists to correct deficient work.
  • Researches and coordinates hospital MEP system outages and tie-ins. Assists with coordination of utility outages or shutdowns to ensure that there are no disruptions to critical care functions.
  • Manages and ensures successful sign off on City or State inspections for all phases of construction.

Education Requirement:

Associate's Degree in related construction field, or equivalent work experience, required.

Skills:

  • Excellent customer services skills and client-relationship development skills.
  • Leadership skills and an ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction schedules. 
  • Working knowledge of contract documents, drawings and specifications, change procedures, construction and engineering principles.

Eight years of building construction experience, or equivalent education, required.
