The Opportunity:

As a Cyber Engineering Intern, you will partner with our cyber leaders to gain hands on experience within the industry. You will be focused on themes that will require you to "think like an adversary" while you secure and harden our infrastructure, employing DevSecOps principles in a development environment. You should also be passionate about the cyber security industry. You will be driven to become a well-rounded technology professional in the disciplines you learn over the summer; along with learning to respectfully work with others in a professional environment. The internship will begin in May and last 12 weeks. The position will be hybrid with the expectation you'll be in person at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

You will explore various topics such as:

  • Automation and code scanning
  • DevSecOps technologies and workflows
  • Leveraging AI for cybersecurity solution engineering
  • Creating infrastructure to support task automation
  • Understanding adversarial tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Configuring virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks
  • CI/CD and version control using GitLab

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or related field
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in major coursework. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis depending on skills and passion
