About the Team The Growth team drives user and revenue growth across ChatGPT’s consumer and business segments worldwide. We operate across the full funnel - from awareness and acquisition through activation, retention, and expansion - using a combination of surface optimizations, in-product funnel improvements, actionable insights, disciplined experimentation, global performance marketing, and AI-powered workflows. About the Role We are seeking a full-funnel ‘growth athlete’ with deep expertise in SEO, web strategy, and CRO to help scale ChatGPT consumer and business growth initiatives. You will drive growth across the entire user journey with rigorous analytical thinking and high-velocity experimentation. This team thrives on rapid testing, rigorous measurement, and creative problem solving, all while keeping user value at the center of our decision-making. You will own SEO and web growth initiatives end-to-end—from keyword strategy and creative development to deployment, measurement, and iteration. This role is highly cross-functional and will require close collaboration with engineering, product, product marketing, marketing, data science, and design teams to design scalable systems that accelerate organic traffic and conversion rate growth globally. This role is based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Design, launch, and optimize global SEO acquisition experiences across B2B and B2C segments to capture high-intent traffic. Own technical SEO strategy and execution, including keyword research, site audits, schema implementation, internal linking, and content roadmap development to grow qualified organic traffic. Lead site architecture planning, URL strategy, and migration efforts (e.g., OpenAI.com → ChatGPT.com ) to preserve and grow domain authority and search rankings. Own hypothesis generation, experiment design, execution, and iteration to optimize retention, expansion, and monetization. Develop and run CRO experiments (landing page design, copy tests, CTA placement, page speed improvements) to increase sign-up and conversion rates across web surfaces. Build and monitor full-funnel dashboards (e.g. awareness → sign-up → activation → paid conversion → retention / LTV) to surface bottlenecks and guide prioritization. Partner with data science, product, engineering, and content teams to build scalable growth tooling, attribution models, and experimentation infrastructure. Develop AI-native workflows and processes to help the broader growth team adopt full-funnel thinking and rigorous measurement. Lead cross-functional “web growth sprints” to test pricing, packaging, paywall, landing page templates, and conversion flows, coordinating creative, PM, and engineering to maximize learning velocity. You might thrive in this role if you are/have: 8+ years in growth roles, with experience scaling SEO growth initiatives across consumer and business offerings. Deep expertise in SEO strategy and technical implementation, including site migrations, schema, and keyword portfolio management. Hands-on experience with CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize, Statsig) and web analytics (GA4, Search Console, Looker) to design, launch, and interpret A/B or multivariate tests. Strong growth and analytical skills - comfortable with funnel modeling, segmentation, cohort analysis, and experimentation design. Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, design, content/SEO, and analytics teams. Ability to context-switch between strategic modeling (market sizing) and tactical execution (SEO audits, page-level CRO, landing page QA). Ability to own/scale CMS operations, including publishing, updating, and QA of new landing pages, templates, and localized content to ensure SEO best practices and high-quality user experiences. Job Description

About the Team

The Growth team drives user and revenue growth across ChatGPT’s consumer and business segments worldwide. We operate across the full funnel - from awareness and acquisition through activation, retention, and expansion - using a combination of surface optimizations, in-product funnel improvements, actionable insights, disciplined experimentation, global performance marketing, and AI-powered workflows.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-funnel ‘growth athlete’ with deep expertise in SEO, web strategy, and CRO to help scale ChatGPT consumer and business growth initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, launch, and optimize global SEO acquisition experiences across B2B and B2C segments to capture high-intent traffic.

  • Own technical SEO strategy and execution, including keyword research, site audits, schema implementation, internal linking, and content roadmap development to grow qualified organic traffic.

  • Lead site architecture planning, URL strategy, and migration efforts (e.g., OpenAI.comChatGPT.com) to preserve and grow domain authority and search rankings.

  • Own hypothesis generation, experiment design, execution, and iteration to optimize retention, expansion, and monetization.

  • Develop and run CRO experiments (landing page design, copy tests, CTA placement, page speed improvements) to increase sign-up and conversion rates across web surfaces.

  • Build and monitor full-funnel dashboards (e.g. awareness → sign-up → activation → paid conversion → retention / LTV) to surface bottlenecks and guide prioritization.

  • Partner with data science, product, engineering, and content teams to build scalable growth tooling, attribution models, and experimentation infrastructure.

  • Develop AI-native workflows and processes to help the broader growth team adopt full-funnel thinking and rigorous measurement.

  • Lead cross-functional “web growth sprints” to test pricing, packaging, paywall, landing page templates, and conversion flows, coordinating creative, PM, and engineering to maximize learning velocity.

You might thrive in this role if you are/have:

  • 8+ years in growth roles, with experience scaling SEO growth initiatives across consumer and business offerings.

  • Deep expertise in SEO strategy and technical implementation, including site migrations, schema, and keyword portfolio management.

  • Hands-on experience with CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize, Statsig) and web analytics (GA4, Search Console, Looker) to design, launch, and interpret A/B or multivariate tests.

  • Strong growth and analytical skills - comfortable with funnel modeling, segmentation, cohort analysis, and experimentation design.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, design, content/SEO, and analytics teams.

  • Ability to context-switch between strategic modeling (market sizing) and tactical execution (SEO audits, page-level CRO, landing page QA).

  • Ability to own/scale CMS operations, including publishing, updating, and QA of new landing pages, templates, and localized content to ensure SEO best practices and high-quality user experiences.

  • Experience in AI workflows to scale programmatic SEO with demonstrated ROI and impact.

  • A test-and-learn mindset and comfort with fast-paced, ambiguous environments
