Understanding of product and marketing life cycles with the common roadblocks and challenges teams encounter. Capacity to ask questions, synthesize critical information, put ideas into action, and share findings. Ability to lead multiple initiatives and portfolios of work. Proven ability to define, map, and implement processes in a complex stakeholder environment. Strong communication skills and an ability to lead with empathy and clarity. Experience facilitating diverse stakeholder group input. Eagerness for new challenges, a growth-oriented approach, Experience in a digital startup environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with PM and operational methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, Six Sigma, and Waterfall is a plus. Responsibilities Design acoustic wave filters for integration into RF modules, while meeting demanding schedules, best in class performance, and critical size and cost requirements Follow Skyworks best engineering practices to ensure reliability, sustainability, and delivery of a high production yield Drive new architectures and ideas to continuously improve filter and module performance to maintain a competitive edge for Skyworks products Conduct design reviews and present quantitative data to demonstrate compliance to internal or customer specifications based on simulation and measured results Work closely with module and systems teams to set appropriate goals for filter performance criteria Interact with technology and fabrication teams to ensure continuous performance improvements and to steer BU roadmaps Drive design methodologies to improve accuracy, efficiency, and first-pass success Required Experience and Skills PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of job experience; or MS with 6 years of experience; or BS with 8 years of experience Experience with acoustic filter and multiplexer designs Deep understanding of RF fundamentals such as impedance matching, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth and stability Expertise in PA/LNA filter co-design and RF integration Strong circuit simulation skills utilizing Agilent ADS/Cadence and 2.5/3D EM tools such as Momentum or HFSS Prior experience in EM simulation of filters or multi-chip modules (MCM) In-depth, practical, hands-on experience on problem solving and lab debugging skills from prototype to mass production Preferred Qualifications Strong track-record of prior RF filter/multiplexer developments for cellular applications Understanding of cellular RF systems The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $112,500 - $215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. The Design Operations Team at Strava is responsible for ensuring the Design organization runs smoothly. We handle the work around the work: process, tooling, workflows, contracts, budgets and resourcing, and all of the other overhead that is required for Design to succeed. We are curious and visionary when it comes to our craft. We are looking for a Senior Design Program Manager II to elevate the successful execution of Strava's Design programs. This position will have a broad reach and will require strong communication skills and experience to deftly engage with our partners across the product, brand, and research disciplines.

The ideal candidate thrives at bringing clarity to ambiguity, building effective production pipelines, and driving efficient, cross-functional collaboration. We are looking for a self-motivated, driven candidate who is adaptable, excited to dive in and help solve problems, and excels in a highly collaborative team culture.

In this role, you will collaborate across the design organization and build relationships with our cross-functional partners. You will be responsible for shaping new ways of working and helping teams realize the best outcomes of their work.

We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to half your time on-site in our New York office- three days per week. Note this position will require approximately 10% domestic and international travel.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive operational methodologies to set up projects and teams for success.
  • Build ways of working to drive impact across product and marketing teams.
  • Promote and develop cross-functional relationships.
  • Lead multiple work streams and programs that span the entire Design org.
  • Define project scope and constraints across brand and product projects.
  • Adeptly manage project risk.
  • Build, grow and maintain clear cross-functional alignment and coordination throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support the planning, intake, and resourcing to ensure alignment on team priorities.
  • Manage tools, budgets, vendors, and documentation.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 5-7+ years of operational or program experience in a creative or design setting.
  • Understanding of product and marketing life cycles with the common roadblocks and challenges teams encounter.
  • Capacity to ask questions, synthesize critical information, put ideas into action, and share findings.
  • Ability to lead multiple initiatives and portfolios of work.
  • Proven ability to define, map, and implement processes in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to lead with empathy and clarity.
  • Experience facilitating diverse stakeholder group input.
  • Eagerness for new challenges, a growth-oriented approach,
  • Experience in a digital startup environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with PM and operational methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, Six Sigma, and Waterfall is a plus.

Compensation Overview:

At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate's starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future.
