Maxar is seeking a Web Application Developer to join our team. This is a hybrid position that is able to be filled at Bolling AFB, Arlington or Chantilly, VA.

Job Duties:

  • Designs and develops user interfaces and visualizations that support capabilities such as data discovery and query, data visualizations, link-node analysis, and object production and relationships.

  • Develops services using modern techniques such as REST, Java, JSON, Spring, Python, JavaScript Web UI frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React), and Docker.

  • Uses processes and tools that support the DevSecOps pipeline including JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory.

  • Supports development and demonstration of user interface and visualization concepts and incorporates user feedback into the backlog.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly.

  • 8 years of relevant experience with a related degree.

  • Proficient with Node.js with Typescript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch.

  • Position is onsite with some opportunity for Hybrid Work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with: JSON, Java, Java Script and Web UI JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React), SharePoint, XML, VBAs, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, SQL, Open AI, other AI technologies.

The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, and the Washington, DC metropolitan area is:

$131,000.00 - $152,000.00

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
