Job Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of new memory products by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of memory circuits: Interpret product specifications and design circuits to meet required functionality Design and develop schematic blocks such as memory array, input buffer, output buffer, control logic, address decode, datapath, and internal test logic Participate in new circuit conception and design as needed Gives authoritative technical knowledge to advance innovative technical solutions Provides advice and counsel to senior management on significant technical issues Implement Verification Quality Conduct circuit simulations using standard industry simulators such as FINESIM, HSPICE and VERILOG Model parasitic that affect circuit performance Responsible for reliability verification Assist with design validation, reticle experiments, and necessary tape-out revisions. Supervise and manage the layout process Lead floor-planning process, including placement and routing optimization Optimize design rules for cost, performance and functionality Import layout parasitic information into circuit simulation environment Maintain Technical Expertise and Provide Training Contribute to cross group communication to work towards standardization and group success Aid in design documentation and communicating best known practices to entire department Participate in continuing education and competitor analysis Proactively solicit feedback from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to ensure the design quality Drive innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.   • Conduct circuit simulations using standard industry simulators such as FINESIM, HSPICE and VERILOG

  • Model parasitic that affect circuit performance

  • Responsible for reliability verification

  • Assist with design validation, reticle experiments, and necessary tape-out revisions.

Supervise and manage the layout process

  • Lead floor-planning process, including placement and routing optimization

  • Optimize design rules for cost, performance and functionality

  • Import layout parasitic information into circuit simulation environment

Maintain Technical Expertise and Provide Training

  • Contribute to cross group communication to work towards standardization and group success

  • Aid in design documentation and communicating best known practices to entire department

  • Participate in continuing education and competitor analysis

  • Proactively solicit feedback from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to ensure the design quality

  • Drive innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Master's is preferred.

  • 10+ years of proven experience in Memory design

  • 10+ years of knowledge of CMOS circuit design, device physics, state machine logic/design verification techniques

  • 5+ years of experience with power network analysis

  • 10+ years of experience with a scripting language (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess highly effective communication and teamwork skills
  • 5+ years of experiences on DDR5 or LPDDR5 or GDDR6 or HBM3
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
