Skill and Python scripting are used in collaboration with these tools. In some designs, additional tools such as Ansys HFSS are used as well. The Senior IC Design Engineer will collaborate closely with other members of the IC design team. Often, multiple designers are working together on one chip. Since our custom ICs are used in the test and measurement products we develop, the Senior IC Design Engineer will also collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams that will use the custom ICs. The Senior IC Design Engineer will work with test engineers to implement wafer test procedures and provide guidance on production issues as they arise. Prepare cable and conduit schedules and routing drawings. Develop Input and Output (I/O) Lists and interface with the plant control system. Be responsible for testing and commissioning plans. Review engineering work deliverables. Lead project teams and provide status updates as needed. Maintain good relationships with peers, client organizations, vendor representatives and sub-consultants. Identify and develop new strategic relationships that will support winning and executing assignments for the Power Generation team and other groups within HDR. Job Summary: The Design Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of restaurant design and image for the Firehouse Subs Brand in US & Canada. The Design Manager will be responsible for ensuring Firehouse brand standards are being upheld in every new and current Firehouse store in the US & Canada. The Design Manager will work both directly and indirectly with multiple other functions inside and outside of the development team, including: construction; real estate; operations; technology; marketing; and finance. What you'll be doing:

  • Run integration flows to build RTL, run connectivity checks, and assemble logical units.

  • Collaborate with front-end teams to resolve connectivity issues and implement design fixes to ensure physically-viable RTL netlists are delivered to downstream physical design flows.

  • Run synthesis workflows and optimize for area, power, and timing.

  • Run physical design flow from netlist to GDS, perform STA, physical verification (LVS/DRC)

  • Perform netlist checks and formal equivalence validation.

  • Enhance tool automation, streamline workflows, and document best practices.

What we need to see:

  • BSEE / MSEE or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in VLSI physical design implementation on 16nm, 7nm, 5nm or 3nm technology.

  • Able to assist in design flow development and debugging.

  • Already a validated strong power user of P&R, Timing analysis, Physical Verification and IR Drop Analysis CAD tools from Synopsys (ICC2/DC/PT/STAR/ICV), Cadence (Genus/Innovus/Tempus) and other major EDA companies.

  • To be successful you should possess strong analytical and debugging skills.

  • Proficiency using Python, Perl, Tcl, Make scripting is desired.
