The anticipated wage for this position is $63,000 - $162,800 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). Job Description

Hiring for a Full Time - Direct Hire FPGA/PCB Design Engineer out of the Manassas, Park, VA area. This position is fully On-Site, and due to the nature of this role and our Clients Requirements based off the Rules and Regulations of the US Government and Capacity of this position – Candidates must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship and the ability to pass a Govt Background Check.

Design and implement FPGA-based solutions for embedded hardware and software products.
Develop and test FPGA designs, ensuring they meet performance and functionality requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into electronic and PCB layouts.
Utilize tools such as Verilog, VHDL, ModelSim, Xilinx, etc., for FPGA development and verification.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs to ensure reliability and performance.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in FPGA technology and methodologies.
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the product development lifecycle

Skills / Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in FPGA design and testing, including experience with embedded hardware and software products.
    • Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, ModelSim, Xilinx, and other relevant tools and systems.
    • Strong understanding of electronic and PCB design principles, particularly related to FPGA devices.
    • Preference for candidates with experience in aviation or aviation products.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
