Compensation The base salary range for this position is ($77,000 - $115,400) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. Job Description

A Machine Learning Engineer who will innovate and deliver valuable AI and ML solutions for our customers. Responsible for development, integration, delivery, and support of complex ML solutions, this individual must be a self-directed professional. In addition to solid ML and AI knowledge they must possess excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop machine learning models to address business challenges, adhering to INDG best practices with integration of AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and shape project architecture with cloud infrastructure considerations.
  • Architect and implement scalable, high-performance machine learning pipelines and infrastructure utilizing AWS and DevOps practices.
  • Serve as a strong influencer on technical trends and participate in providing technology roadmap/vision for the team, incorporating cloud-based solutions.
  • Build enterprise applications at-scale using expertise in computer science fundamentals.
  • Use metrics to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Write and maintain production-quality code. 
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. 

You need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field or Bachelor's degree in any subject with a Master's degree or higher in a STEM field required.
  • 3+ years of software development experience and/or commensurate skills building commercial and ML applications.  
  • 3+ years’ experience and/or commensurate skills with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python, ML/AI frameworks, libraries, data structures and data modeling techniques
  • Experience in all phases of machine learning application lifecycles from problem mapping and scoping to data gathering and preparation to optimizing model performance.
