Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IMC, IBC, SMACNA, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC). Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project integration. Perform site visits, inspections, and evaluations to support design accuracy and troubleshoot installation issues. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software to create and modify drawings. Assist in selecting and specifying equipment (air handlers, pumps, scrubbers, fans, switchgear, control panels, fire suppression systems, etc.). Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications. Participate in design reviews, value engineering exercises, and risk assessments. Support procurement and construction teams with technical expertise, documentation, and troubleshooting. Ensure quality control measures are met throughout the project lifecycle. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in semiconductor facility design. Other responsibilities as assigned. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field. 2–5+ years of experience in design engineering (experience in semiconductor, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable). Experience in construction coordination, facility systems design, or industrial applications is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire protection, structural, cleanroom, and control systems.
