Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and settlement agents to ensure all closing conditions are met. Order and verify miscellaneous items such as homeowners’ insurance, flood certification. Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues that could delay loan purchase Maintain ongoing communication with Underwriters, Processors, and Funding team members to ensure timely loan funding. Designated Employer Representative (DER) Manage end-to-end post employment background screening and drug testing process, evaluate results, and ensure compliance with customer requirements as well as relevant laws and regulations. Initiate, schedule, and monitor results on all pre-access, random, reasonable suspicion/reasonable cause, post-accident, return-to-duty, and follow up drug and alcohol screens Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in documentation and serve4 as point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders. Report positive test results to supervisors for immediate removal from safety sensitive positions if necessary. Recommend and implement innovative process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of post-employment screening program Liaison with EHS for new hire and associate drug and alcohol exams and pulmonary tests. The postdoc will play a crucial role in implementing and interpreting environmental DNA (eDNA) experiments to characterize fish diversity across a vertical depth gradient using high-throughput sequencing data as well as organize and help lead a field expedition in Puerto Rico. There will also be opportunities for the postdoctoral researcher to participate in additional lab related field campaigns as well as developing their own project related to the research focus. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., biology, ecology, evolution), strong bioinformatics skills, experience with analyzing eDNA, proven record of peer-reviewed publications, an ability to organize and lead field expeditions, and interest in contributing to an inclusive work environment. Other qualifications include a strong work ethic, problem-solving and time management skills, and independent research experience. The Senior Post Closer will ensure that all loan files are thoroughly reviewed, complete, compliant, and ready for purchase, while coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate a smooth loan sale.

What you’ll do:

  • Review closed loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Verifying all final documents, including title reports, payoff statements, and flood certifications, are accurate and accounted for.
  • Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and settlement agents to ensure all closing conditions are met.
