Job Summary:

Supermicro IT team is seeking a results-driven Sr. Product Manager - Data Center Services to lead strategic initiatives across our global data center business infrastructure portfolio. This manager will drive the development of new services in the Data Center Business to support our Data Center Building Block Solutions (DCBBS)

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of Industry product development and offer creation and IT Delivery Model. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering, operations, and vendor teams to enable next-generation capacity at scale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Product Development: Manage the full lifecycle of Supermicro's data center services portfolio from concept to end-of-life (EOL).
  • Shape Product Strategy: Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for data center solutions, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee data center services products through the entire lifecycle, ensuring successful product launches and market positioning.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze market trends and business needs to develop tactics that position Supermicro's data center services products for maximum impact.
  • Product Training: for internal teams, partners, resellers, and end customers to ensure deep understanding of product offerings
  • Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to refine product specifications and ensure product features align with their expectations and business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead research and analysis to develop platform strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive execution of product roadmaps.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback gathering to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Lead go-to-market strategies: Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to promote new solutions effectively
  • Influence Growth and Innovation: Drive key decisions to maximize market share, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or MS a plus)
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Product Management, or data center development. 5+ years in customer-facing roles.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data center services, their architecture, and the product roadmap.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to build compelling business cases, develop effective presentations, and measure success.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal teams. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience managing or supporting co-location data center environments.
  • Familiarity with Supermicro CDU systems and liquid-cooled server platforms

Salary Range

$163,000 - $180,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
