Detailed Job Description

Finance and HR Data Product / Domain SME candidate is responsible for

• Own Finance and HR domain data definitions, business rules, and semantic accuracy across Gold layer assets
• Serve as the authoritative voice between business stakeholders and engineering on data meaning and usage
• Define and maintain data contracts, SLAs, and certified dataset criteria
• Drive Medallion layer promotion standards (what qualifies as Gold/Platinum)
• Partner with Catalog team (Alation) on business glossary and lineage documentation
• Drive C-level discussions on data product strategy, business value, and platform direction
• Comfortable creating and delivering executive-ready presentations hands-on not delegating to support staff
